They have you fill out a questionnaire that apparently does not get reviewed by the Hiring Manager. Had the Hiring Manager reviewed it (instead of only my resume), they would have noticed that I did not have experience in a particular skill but was willing to learn how to use this software because it is similar to another one that I already use.
The interview with the Hiring Manager was ok. It was an open-ended interview question that was definitely out of the ordinary and not what I was expected. I definitely realized that a bit of structure would have been more preferable, but I recognize that some people excel in BS-ing their way through this a lot better than me.
Was told the day after the interview that I was rejected. So, despite the bad news (because I am a very passionate individual with respect to sustainability), I appreciate the quick rejection rather than having me wait a week or so to find out.
