      Entretien

Attended Architect interview and interview was scheduled for 1 hour but concluded in 30 mins. 3 pre-sales/sales questions were asked and 3 technical questions asked after brief introduction. I tried to be as specific as i can be for pre-sales/sales questions while got at least 2 of the 3 technical questions correct. Was pleasantly surprised when interview attended abruptly after technical questions were answered. During the interview, there was not any discussion on my recent projects or technical contribution or areas I worked on unfortunately. Interview experience itself was good and no different from other interviews attended. However, when HR called to share feedback, it was more opinion than feedback. HR suggested I take up BA or QA roles. HR became prescriptive by suggesting to pick up more badges/certifications. Made poor remarks about certain projects based on what he heard. Most technical members do not decide project overall success or ROI. There was also suggestions on which kind of organizations I must chose to join without really understanding why I worked where I worked. Clearly, the reasons were different for not being selected. Surprised how a recruiter could have been so prescriptive and biased in just 30 minutes of discussion. There was lot of free advice of learning & earning which probably any technical member would be doing to upskill even otherwise. Personally, as technical person, even if I had answered all the 3 technical questions wrong, there is no way somebody could arrive at above feedback. Unfortunately, they can not differentiate between opinions and feedback and expect every one to take feedback positively and work on it. While we all maintain general positive outlook including rejections, there should be some sense to what is shared in the name of feedback
