      Initial meeting with HR, with the hiring manager, then a case study in front of a panel. The process was very smooth, it took only a few weeks to complete.

      Step-1: Discuss with HR about the requirements and the expectations. It was made clear the minimum compensation package that could be accepted and that there is not reason to waste any time, if this cannot be guarantee. Step-2: It was confirmed by HR that this is possible and everything is aligned and we move forward with a technical interview with the Director and a Principal Manager. Technical questions were asked and everything was clarified with respect to intentions and the requirements and expectations (candidate's compensation package included). Step-3: At this point, it seemed that everything was aligned and they asked for a Technical Workshop which actually asked question of real internal problems. No payment was given for this type of work (as it should), it was a general assignment, but asking technical questions to get ideas on how to solve internal problems. Nevertheless, as everything else was agreed, I moved forward with an interview and a presentation for the technical questions: 4 people where involved in this interview and they generally focused on answering technical aspects for them. Finally: I got a call with an offer to accept a Senior position with way lower compensation package and have member on the team with way less experience be at a higher seniority. A real waste of my time. Avoid if possible and clarify from the beginning that you are not willing to do any assignment unless the position is locked. The do have time for games, no serious at all.
