      Entretien

After a first round with HR, second call with an engineering director, then coding interview. I was receiving positive feedback during the implementation, all the code puzzle were solved in O(N), the only not linear was a O(M+N). I did test the code and pseudocode after the interview and it worked. The exercise itself was not that hard. The person interviewed me asked as well random questions on UT, how to, when to. Clearly was following a check list. Not sure how prepared he was on the questions he was asking. I made 4 of 6 steps of the exercise, the guy was interviewing me had to rush 20 mins before the end of the one hour booked for the interview. Not sure lf it was a strategy to get rid of me :), I'm confident I was going to complete the test. It's fine to do not pass an interview, for any reason.. when I asked HR for a feedback I did not receive any reply with evidence unfortunately. Interviews are way to learn as well. I do interview people frequently, the approach is different.

      Questions d'entretien [1]

      Question 1

I did use c# Question:Validate a lineup. Basic code puzzle. Straight implementation was nested for, I got linear runtime execution by usage of dictionaries. Then constant time inside for, assignments and key set during the single interaction. Access in constant time in dictionary to check distinct on key values. Basic usage of linq to make sum, groupBy and distinct. Generic very high level questions on UT, like "do you think make sense to use them and when! " Really you cannot interview a senior and poorly ask like that. There was a question on the complexity of a linq command execution, not sure the point of that, it depends if operation runs in memory or server side. The time to generate the sql command and execute it its another story. The volume of the data to deal with another story.

Phone screen with recruiter, was positive and upbeat. Recruiter felt there might be a couple of opportunities, and he would schedule follow up with hiring manager(s).to Asked about comp, and questions about company - asked if they had plans to use DLT? No one ever asked that before... Seemed like a nice guy Problem is he never got back to me, I emailed a couple of times. Pretty unprofessional to say you are scheduling something and to not even respond ever! Guess I didn't get the job. Seemed like a good company, hopefully its better than their process.

      Questions d'entretien [1]

      Question 1

What is your management style? Do yo have 1 on 1's. Do you prepare an agenda for 1 on 1's.
