Had a phone screen with an engineer there. He asked the same leetcode hard question on all the DoorDash threads, but changed it slightly so it required a trick to solve. I solved it right away before he introduced the edge case. The interviewer was not very helpful and kept saying things like "just look on line 12". Eventually ran out of time and the interviewer said they would show me the solution. They changed my code and said this was the solution, but it did not pass the test cases either and they were confused. I got to ask some questions and they told me they use Kotlin so I told them I was not interested in working in Kotlin, probably did not pass the interview anyway.
