J'ai postulé via la recommandation d'un employé. J'ai passé un entretien chez DoorDash (San Francisco, CA)
Entretien
Stages:
- Prescreening Project to be completed before the interview
- Phone Screening to talk about the project
- Onsite interview
Onsite interview was very practical. No questions about inverting a binary search tree or any puzzlers. Each interview had a different focus and most related to the project you did before coming on-site.
Overall, the experience was great. From the interactions with the frontend team members, I really got an understand of how passionate the teams are about frontend technologies, company culture, and the products they build here at DoorDash.
Walking into the coding interview, I was taken aback when they asked about finding the K nearest restaurants based on coordinates. Just days before, I had stumbled on a mock on prachub.com that mirrored this question almost exactly. The interview felt straightforward, but I struggled with some behavioral questions. Overall, the experience was underwhelming; I expected more technical depth. After several rounds, they decided to go in another direction, which was disappointing given my prep efforts.
