      Candidature

J'ai postulé en ligne. J'ai passé un entretien chez Domino's (Milton Keynes, Angleterre)

      Entretien

I applied for the role via the Domino's website, but as the application didn't go through, I contacted the hiring manager as I was very keep to submit my CV. A short while after, I was contacted by Domino's by a telephone call, letting me know that the hiring manager was keen to discuss the role with me - great! I had the call with the hiring manager and got on really well, and was invited in Domino's head office for a face-to-face interview. The interview itself was a little odd, as the majority of the questions focused predominantly on one of my roles. To give myself the best possible chance of getting the role, and showcase my expertise, I tried to talk about my other experience - but the interviewer continued to revert back to my first role! At the end of the interview, I felt underwhelmed and disappointed - as during previous interviews I've never felt like I've undersold myself, but in this scenario I felt pushed into a corner. As a last-ditch attempt to give examples of other projects and campaigns I've worked on, I asked the interview panel whether they would like to see my portfolio - which I had pulled together purely for this interview - with the response "maybe next time". I knew when I walked out of that room that I hadn't got the job, but asked for feedback from the HR employee - and why the majority of the questions had been focused on one role. The reply was that "they felt that most of my experience linked to the role came from my first job" - this made absolutely no sense to me at all! All in all, the interview process with Dominos was lazy to say the least.
