J'ai postulé via un recruteur. Le processus a pris 1 jour. J'ai passé un entretien chez DoiT en juin 2025

      Entretien

First meeting was with Oscar and I have description about recruitment process, stages and that after every stage I will get feedback. Second meeting was a tech one: we talked about my experience, Go principles, channels, goroutines. Finally I was asked about to write code for leet code task. I was surprised because I was even not prepared to do live coding as Oscar didn't mention about it. So I had to use just a text editor as I didn't have any IDE on that PC I was using. There were no questions about design patterns, architecture. The two interviewers were rather introverted. That wouldn't match for sure as I have open personality. I also have noticed some communication issues when one of them tried to describe a task. I suggest to better prepare for asking questions. I also didn't get a promised feedback as it was promised on the first meeting (I have even asked about the feedback in separate message). So I have a mixed feelings.

Thanks for sharing your feedback — it helps us maintain a high bar while continuing to create a positive experience for candidates. Coding is something we include when we believe it can help set candidates up for success. It’s not a formal or a full coding test and/or a coding session, but a small prompt to explore how the candidate thinks through a problem. That said, I understand a heads-up is appreciated, and we’ll make sure to be clearer about that being a potential ask during a tech interview going forward. On the topic of feedback — we aim to provide it after each stage as soon as possible. We gather input from everyone involved, align internally, and come back with something meaningful that often provides a learning opportunity to our candidate. Our goal is to respond within 48 hours, though we’ve occasionally had situations where a follow-up email from the candidate comes in just as we’re finalizing. Could that have been the case here? Appreciate you taking the time to reflect on your experience. Wishing you all the best with what’s next. Lital Ben Porat, Director of Global Talent Acquisition @ DoiT

Very enthusiastic recruiter. Manager interview went over current work and future directions clearly. Technical interview was reasonably simple. There were questions that were clearly specific to me, based on my CV.

Very poorly managed hiring process. After applying to the role, I received an invite for a first HR interview and the typical "Based on your CV, I believe your skills align well with the role requirements". The only available spot for interviewing was in 2 weeks time, so I booked the first available one. One week before the interview, I see a notification on the invite been canceled. I reached out the TA, asking if there was any change in the process and if the role was still open. Radio silence. The day after, I got the "We Appreciate You Applying to DoiT". It was for sure one of the most unprofessional experiences I had in 20 years.

Thank you for sharing your feedback. We understand how frustrating it can be to receive a rejection email before connecting, and we appreciate you taking the time to share your experience. While we can’t confirm the exact details of this anonymous review, it appears the email was triggered automatically when the role was closed—before we had a chance to speak with everyone already invited to interview. This seems to have been a one-off issue, not reflective of how we operate. We typically connect personally with every candidate to provide updates and ensure clarity. Our priority is to let candidates know as soon as a role is closed—so we can be transparent, fair, and respectful of their time. We’ve refreshed our recruiting system best practices to help ensure this doesn’t happen again. Regarding scheduling, we pride ourselves on moving quickly—our time-to-interview is typically well below market benchmarks, and we aim to ensure candidates get a chance to connect with us in the coming days rather than weeks. We’d welcome any additional details you’re willing to share to help us continue improving the experience. Feel free to contact me at lital@doit.com. The interview process was good and refreshingly different from what seems to be common in the tech industry, where some folks use an interview to intimidate or belittle the interviewer. The interviews at DoiT were professional and authentic. Every stage was both conversational yet professional including the Talent Acquisition partner, Nelly. She was brilliant from the start and that I believe set the tone for the rest of the stages. It was 4 stages: 1) screening, 2)high-level technical interview with the Director of Engineering (30 minutes), 3a) technical interview with 2 team members (45 minutes) where they deep-dived into my experience and working style, 3b) System design interview with another two team members (45 minutes), 4) and final interview (technical/behavioural and equally conversational yet professional) with the VP of Engineering (45 minutes). The entire process took 3 to 4 weeks.
