      Entretien

The interview process was very long and in depth. It consisted of the following: 1. I received an email from a Docusign recruiter through Linkedin saying they are interested in my experience. They reached out to me multiple times and I finally decided to see what they were about. 2. Phone screen: This was pretty basic. They just let me know what the position consisted of and about their company. Also, briefly discussed my background and experience so see if I could potentially be a good fit. 3. Phone interview with Customer Success Team Manager. This went very well. He asked basic questions regarding my last position and also did a quick role play conversation for a retention call. He seemed very professional and nice. 4. In person interview: This lasted one hour and 45 minutes. I met with 3 managers and all of the interviews I felt went really well. They asked standard questions and each gave me time to ask them questions as well. They all seemed very friendly and professional. I can tell they really like working at Docusign and care deeply about their teams. 5. References: Filled out a reference check that consisted of me using two of my past managers and two other professional references. They filled out a survey that I think took them about 20 minutes to complete 6. 360 Skill Survey: This was a survey that I completed for Docusign that consisted of multiple questions about my work style and how I would react in certain situations. 7. 2nd In Person Interview: This was another interview that I was asked to come back to their office for. This interview lasted 30 minutes and was with one of the Directors of the Account Management team. This interview may have not gone as well as the others. It was going well for the first 15 minutes and then it started to go a little downhill. He leaned back in his chair while holding my resume in front of his face the entire time. He chewed on his pen and every time he would ask me a question would point at me with the pen. One comment he made was for me to tell him about one of my Account Management positions. But when asking me, he held up his hands and did the quotation marks when saying my “Account Management" role. As if that position or experience was not to his standards. He did not seem as professional at the other managers. I also thought that some of his questions were a little unnecessary. One example of this was "explain to me what your last day was like when you got laid off at your last company". I do not really see why this is relevant to the position I was applying for. I am a female professional and I felt as though he was trying to make me aware of his power and dominance. 8. Mock Call Phone Interview: After the last in person interview they asked me to do another phone interview with one of the Customer Success team managers . This was a mock call for a retention/renewal conversation. I felt that the call went well. He gave me background details about the account, we had the mock call and after we both discussed things that could have gone better and things that went well. 9. Final Decision: After the mock call a few days later I received a call from the recruiter that I did not get the position. I asked for feedback as to what I could have improved on as the interview process was fairly in depth. The recruiter told me there was no real feedback to give and that they decided to go with someone with more experience. One piece of feedback I would provide to Docusign would be to notify the person going through the interview process sooner that they do not have enough experience before asking them to complete multiple weeks of interviewing. Also a side note, I did not meet with any female managers which is a bit concerning. Overall, Docusign seems like a great company and the managers seem to really have a passion for what they are doing. I hope the best for them and that they find the perfect employee match.
