I met with the team manager, and I could tell right from the beginning that she did not want to be there. She not only looked disheveled and unprofessional but she was noticeably not paying attention and typing on her computer. I was doing a coding task in front of her, and I would ask for some clarification, and it was clear she was not paying attention. She was not at all warm or welcoming, and she ended the interview by saying that if they didn't have any open spots for me for the summer that I could try to apply again for their rotation program. It felt strange that they would offer me an interview in the first place if they weren't really considering me for the role. Additionally, the coding platform was glitching, and she offered no help in what to do and was mostly unresponsive. Overall, it was one of my worst interviewing experiences.
