First, call with a recruiter. She was very nice and got me connected with the hiring manager. Spoke to the hiring manager which was very straightforward (background, experience, etc). They told me I would hear about the next steps either way. Never heard a word back even after emailing the recruiter for feedback twice. This is a large company where you would clearly be "just a number". I wouldn't waste your time.
