      Entretien

      Applied online and received a response from a recruiter pretty quickly. I responded with my availability and heard nothing for several days. About a week later the recruiter sends me a calendar invite for a time I did not send him, I respond letting him know I am not available and send some updated availability. Recruiter still calls me and leaves a voicemail asking that I call or text him back. Next day I get an automated e-mail from their system letting me know they moved forward with someone else. The recruiter then reaches back to me and we finally connect and chat about the role, he feels like I'm a good fit and quickly schedules another phone interview with a manager. After chatting with the adoption manager we both quickly agree it's not a good fit at all.

      Entretien

      Submitted resume and cover letter through current employee and went through the referral process. This is definitely the way to go - employees get $ for referrals too. I heard from a recruiter after a few days, she was very personable and informative while getting more info about my background and experience. The second part of the process was an on-demand style initial interview using the HireVue app. You set up a camera to record answers to questions that you are given 30 seconds to think about, then 3 minutes to answer. You can re-record once (2 total tries per question). I think I'm really tech savvy, but even after practicing with the app, I managed to submit one a response that I intended to record over. Once you submit, there is absolutely no going back! I didn't hear anything about my application for 5 weeks (I did email with the recruiter a few times, she just didn't have any updates to provide). After 5+ weeks I got a nice call from the recruiter asking if I was still interested, but I had already accepted a different position.

      Entretien

      Recruiter phone screen, phone call with the hiring manager, interview with team 4-6 people. Recruiter was hit/miss - sometimes she would call when we had time scheduled, other times she was nowhere to be found. Lack of attention to detail ultimately plagued my experience, but I did enjoy meeting with the team, and I think it could be a fun place to work.

      Thank you for your feedback. Since then we have hired a new VP of Talent Acquisition who is more focused on the candidate experience.
