J'ai postulé via la recommandation d'un employé. Le processus a pris 3 mois. J'ai passé un entretien chez Discover

      Entretien

Ghosted after 4 Round interview process I interviewed for an Employee Relations position at Discover MasterCard as a referral from a current employee who spoke highly of the company's culture. Unfortunately, my experience could not have been further from the positive image I was led to believe. Over the course of three weeks, I completed four rounds of interviews. However, after the final interview, I heard absolutely nothing for six weeks. Despite reaching out to both the recruiter and hiring manager through multiple channels—including email, text, and phone calls—I was completely ignored. After weeks of silence, I finally received a generic, computer-generated email stating the position had been closed. This is unacceptable for a company of Discover’s size and reputation. Not only was I ghosted after dedicating hours of my time, but I was also left completely in the dark, with no professional courtesy or feedback about my candidacy. To make matters worse, I was extremely flexible throughout the process, even accommodating last-minute cancellations of interviews on their end. For a company to treat a referral this way is shocking. If this is how they treat candidates referred by their own employees, it speaks volumes about their lack of respect and professionalism. It’s also deeply concerning that Discover would proceed with a lengthy interview process for a position they later closed. Why recruit and waste candidates' time if the position isn’t budget-approved or finalized? This reflects poor planning and lack of accountability within their hiring process. Ghosting candidates after a multi-round interview process is not just unprofessional—it’s dehumanizing. Candidates invest their time and energy preparing for interviews and interacting with your team. The least you can do is provide clear communication and constructive feedback. This is, without a doubt, the most unprofessional interview experience I’ve ever had.
