Process started out great with 2 phone interviews with the Corporate Recruiter. Was quickly invited onsite within a couple days for a 4 hour in person interview in Riverwoods. I sent follow up thank you emails to the Corporate Recruiter and the hiring manager. I am extremely disappointed in the fact that neither replied back at all. Not even to say I wasn't being selected. As recruiters, we are always trying to optimize the candidate experience and I must say, I will never apply to Discover again due to this reason. Two emails to the recruiter went unanswered. I have been recruiting for over 15 years and I will reply back to a candidate if they are asking for an update on the status of their interview. Such a shame when you take a half day off from your current employer to invest time to benefit them with the interviews and then they can't take 2 minutes to reply back to confirm they have chosen another candidate, etc. Very disappointed.
