      Candidature

J'ai postulé en ligne. Le processus a pris 5 semaines. J'ai passé un entretien chez Digital Federal Credit Union (Boston, MA) en juil. 2021

      Entretien

I was brought to the third round of the interview process and asked to deliver a short presentation to a panel, which went well enough from my vantage point; however, I never received any decision one way or another. I emailed the hiring manager after a week and then after three weeks, and still did not receive an answer. I think it's a matter of basic respect and human decency to let someone know of a decision one way or another especially after you have brought someone through three rounds of interviews and especially after you ask them to create a customized presentation for the role and company. These small things make a very big difference and I believe speak to the basic ethics and character that are (or are not) present at a company. They have since reposted the role, which I assume means that it was a failed search. That is fine, and it happens, but have the basic human decency and respect to let someone know about such a decision. It also just strikes me as a little hypocritical that for a role focused on creating inclusion, they fail to practice that when it comes to hiring practices for this role.

      Questions d'entretien [1]

      Question 1

Why are you interested in this role? Talk to me about your professional experiences How do you design workshops? Are they primarily yours that you created or have you facilitated others’ workshops that they’ve developed? What are your top three strengths? What are some areas of improvement? What are a few DE&I projects you’ve done? How do you handle conflict? Tell me about a time when you’ve taken ownership or initiative for something. Where do you see this role fitting into your 5-year and 10-year goals professionally? What makes you different from other candidates?
