J'ai postulé en ligne. Le processus a pris 2 mois. J'ai passé un entretien chez Dickinson College (Carlisle, PA) en sept. 2023
Entretien
The first interview was a Zoom meeting with two of the Directors from the OEI, specifically the CSSJ. A few weeks later I was asked to come back for a second interview on campus where I met with 3 other directors and a student worker. I loved meeting everyone and they were all very nice, and I was super excited for the opportunity. I was told I would hear back either way, but unfortunately I heard nothing. Even after 2 follow up emails I heard nothing back. I was hoping that even if I wasn't going to be offered the job I would have gotten a follow up/reply to my emails. Kind of ruined the experience for me.

There was only 1 interview, but it was with everyone in the office or every department that interacts with that office. It is pretty relaxed and informal, but they definitely favor people who went to Dickinson.
Questions d'entretien [1]
Question 1
They asked about a mistake I made at work and what I learned from it, how I would deal with times when the office wasn't busy, how I would deal with repetitive tasks (like staying motivated), and then other basic things from every job interview.
The first interview was through a Zoom call with the director of the CSSJ and the director of the Aspbell Center for Jewish Life. It went as most interviews do, they asked questions about my strength, weaknesses, experience, and ability to perform administrative tasks. The second interview was on-campus and involved a meeting with 3 other directors/administrative assistants, as well as a student worker. They were all incredibly friendly and alleviated my stress almost immediately. They asked me questions about how I tackle stress, manage my time, and my ability to work in a portable manner. They also asked about my experience with problem solving and critical thinking. I received a tour of both the buildings I would be working in and sat with the directors (from Zoom interview) so that they could answer any questions I had.
