      Interview was a colossal waste of time. There were two interviewers, done via Teams. The more senior of the two asked a whole bunch of questions that were above what was required of the role. This interviewer was also keen to show off his technical expertise and knowledge, by picking apart any incorrect terminology or explanation I used while trying to answer or explain (never mind that the questions I was asked weren't even part of the scope of the role to begin with). Then there were the old-fashioned, tired unimaginative questions that belong in the late 90s e.g. "Between an urgent issue and a request for help from the CEO, which would you do first?" The second interviewer had a more approachable disposition but was overshadowed by the more senior interviewer. Overall the interview (supposedly it was only the first stage) went on for more than 90mins...with hardly 5 minutes spent on 'selling' the role, the organisation, the culture, or the benefits on offer, etc - They either made no effort to, or were unable to communicate their passion or anything positive about working in this organisation...there were a few positive words here and there but didn't come across as sincere or genuine. It was mostly all about "what you can do for us" instead of "we want you to join our cause and make a difference!" approach. Overall, it disappointing and was left feeling like their People & Culture still had a lot of work to do. To top it off, since that loooong interview it has been dead silence...at the very least get back to people and let them know that they were unsuccessful post-interview.
