The interview didn't start on time because they were still speaking to another candidate. The interviewers seemed friendly and engaging. The problem is they said they would give an update by the end of the week or early the following week, but to date I have heard nothing. Companies need to stop doing this. The interview was in their head office face to face, so employers need to respect people are taking the time to prepare and come in for the interviews and they should be updating either way.

This particular role has been very competitive and we had further weeks of interviews and only made a decision last week on a candidate so we are sorry for not feeding this back to you more quickly and will chat to the hiring manager to ensure we improve on our communication.
