The interview process was conducted in several stages. First was a phone screen with a recruiter (Simon Meth in my case), a phone screen with the hiring manager on the engineering team, a problem-solving session with presentation, and then several 1-1 or 2-1 interviews. It was a very thorough vetting process, which gave a lot of insight to their organizational thinking as well as the culture that Dexcom is aiming to achieve. The problem-solving session was a lot of fun - I was presented a technical challenge, asked to think of a solution for an hour, then presented my results to the team. It felt relevant for the type of work I would be doing there and it gave me an idea of how the team approaches a project. The 1-1 and 2-1 interviews had some technical questions and a lot of resume-vetting questions. Throughout the process, Simon was extremely helpful in organizing interviews and relaying feedback, which I greatly appreciated and made the process feel much smoother.
