Two interviews, followed by an HR background check. The overall process took quite a while, around two months before receiving the final confirmation.
The first interview focused mainly on behavioral questions and basic technical questions. They asked about my background, previous experiences, and general understanding of the role. On the technical side, the discussion covered a typical Power BI pipeline, including data cleaning, data modeling, dashboard design, visualization choices, and relevant KPIs.
The second interview was slightly more technical. They went deeper into how I would structure a data pipeline, ensure data quality, and communicate insights clearly to stakeholders. They also placed strong emphasis on confidentiality and data protection, particularly how to handle sensitive information throughout the pipeline, from data extraction and transformation to reporting and dashboard sharing.
