I had two initial phone interviews with a recruiter in early August. After 3+ weeks of hounding the recruiter for feedback I was finally scheduled for an in-house interview. I met with two employees on the Renewals Team. Overall, the interviews were very laid back. They said I would be brought in for another in-house interview once they met with other candidates. After continuously following up with the recruiter for another 3+ weeks this was the final response I received in mid-September: "It embarrassing to say, but I have not heard back from that Mgr. I’ve had no other interviews on that position and no movement on the Req. I have reason to be speaking with the Director over there later today and will do my best to re-ignite the conversation and find out what the heck has been going on. I know he was out in Texas the week after you met with us and then on vacation for two weeks. I had three starts in his group on the Monday he returned followed by our QBR for Renewals. If I’m unable to move the ball, I’ll pass you along to another Recruiter who I know is hiring in the Franklin office for our Inside sales group. I hadn’t forgotten about you." Needless to say, I never received any additional follow up. For someone who was so passionate about joining their team I thought a simple response of, "No, we're not interested" would have sufficed!
