      Entretien

I recently completed an HR call and it went very well. However, I haven’t received any follow-up email or next steps yet. The hiring process for this role has been put on hold due to a change in priorities.

J'ai postulé via un recruteur. J'ai passé un entretien chez Deep Sync (Hyderâbâd) en janv. 2026

      Entretien

The interview process was disorganized, inconsistent, and frankly unprofessional. The role was advertised as remote, yet I was initially told remote work was not allowed. After completing the hiring manager round, I was rejected specifically because of this. A month later, they contacted me again saying remote was suddenly acceptable, but with quarterly office visits. This flip-flop shows poor planning and lack of clarity internally. Interviews were also poorly managed. A one-hour interview stretched to 90 minutes or more with zero respect for the candidate’s time. My interaction in last round was particularly negative. He came across as disengaged, dismissive, and arrogant. He wasn’t paying attention, asked irrelevant and overly personal questions, and seemed more focused on showing off his own knowledge than having a meaningful discussion. When I asked about company goals or how the role would create impact, I didn’t receive clear answers. The overall attitude felt ego-driven and toxic rather than professional or collaborative. Based on this experience, I would not recommend joining this company. Leadership behaviour and the interview process need serious improvement if they want to attract and retain good talent.
