After an initial screening interview for a Content Developer role the recruiter suggested I might be more suitable for a Tech Writing position and said she would discuss it with the Senior Tech Writer. So they both looked at my CV and I was interviewed for a Tech Writing role. I had the interview and during it I was told I am overqualified (even though they read my CV and shortlisted me for the interview). However, I was then told that they would rather have over qualified than underqualified candidates. Anyways, I didn't get the job. My opinion, age discrimination
