      I had an initial process with Flatworld 1. quick assessment about NodeJS and JS knowledge 2. send video recordings to assess english level and communication skills 3. Codesignal assessment, 1:30h maximum but for this position it took me 45mins. 4. Tech interview with human with some technical questions and to talk about past experience. 5. If you get here, Deel's home challenge is sent to you and you have to submit it. 6. DEEL: once the challenge is submitted, HR manager reaches out and books a 30 min screening talk Flatworld process was good overall, quite automated. Deel TAM interview felt OK, but after two days I received a follow-up email saying they were rejecting me because they want people happy working +40 hours a week, working overtime more than 4 days a week and that they want that because they're in hyper growth. It feels very odd to be asked if you're OK working overtime. Also hard to say yes when you don't know the team, the projects, etc. Finally, in a world where the trend is to reduce hours to 6 or 7 per day by maintaining productivity, being asked about feelings about working +8h a day feels weird again. High growth reason isn't people working overtime. It's due to effective, passionate and pragmatic people that are productive within 8h a day. Assessments should be focused on that. If you still want to hire people explicitly willing/happy to work +8h a day, please mention it in job descriptions and do not hide it behind interview questions. I spent a lot of time going through the whole process.

      The interview process felt highly unprofessional and disengaged. The recruiter joined the meeting late for a morning interview and immediately mentioned being tired and exhausted before turning off the camera. The entire interview lasted around 8 minutes despite a scheduled 30-minute slot, including the time I spent asking my own questions. There was very little effort to understand my background or technical experience, and the interaction felt more like a checkbox exercise than a genuine evaluation process. The interviewer appeared uninterested throughout the conversation, which created the impression that the interview was being conducted only for process formalities rather than active hiring. As a candidate, I invest time preparing, researching the company, and attending interviews professionally. It’s reasonable to expect the same level of respect and engagement from the hiring side.

      I had 5 rounds interviews, a coding challenge, one technical, two behavioral interviews and just for my case I had one additional with my manager. Even though the process had a lot of interviews it was really fast, just taking 3 weeks from the start to when I recieve the offer, aditional to that somethin I like is they let you also meet the team so you know how is going to be working with them
