I had a very disappointing experience during HR interview with Decathlon Digital. The process felt unstructured from the start, with initial difficulties accessing my CV.
During the interview, the communication lacked clarity and balance. The interviewer asked multiple questions with a single sentence, making it difficult to address each point properly. At the same time, I was told that my answers were too long, and jumped to a conclusion that "I don't listen".
I also did not feel that my responses were fully listened or understood. Additionally, the interviewer did not clearly introduced themselves or present the company and role, which made the exchange feel informal and not aligned with expected professional standards.
Another point that stood up was the repeated mention and praise of other candidates during the interview. This created an uncomfortable dynamic and raised questions about the purpose and positioning of the discussion.
Advice to management; Ensure interviewers are properly prepared, maintain a structured and respectful dialogue, and avoid comparisons with other candidates during interviews.
