I interviewed for a position in medical records last year. Despite explicitly asking about the annual salary during our initial discussion, I was provided with a figure significantly higher than the offer eventually presented (a difference of approximately $10,000/year). When I raised this discrepancy, attempts were made to deflect blame, suggesting that I must have misunderstood and that the highest potential salary had been provided for the role. Such evasive tactics only served to confirm my suspicions of dishonesty and lack of integrity within the group. Needless to say, I declined the offer. It's disappointing and frustrating to encounter such blatant misrepresentation during the hiring process. This experience only solidified my perception of DeMayo Law as nothing more than sleazy ambulance chasers. Potential candidates deserve transparency and honesty, qualities sorely lacking in these law offices.
