I was contacted by a recruiter and only made it to the first round. I didn’t have a good feeling right from the beginning because the recruiter was cold, unfriendly, and asked a string of unrelated questions that made it awkward for me to even talk about my job experience. She said she would share my information with the hiring manager and mentioned there would be four more interviews plus an assignment. I sent two follow-ups, and she ghosted me. What a poor representation of an otherwise great company. I’m thankful I didn’t get to the next round and torture myself with a process that clearly didn’t value my time or effort or worse - join a company with colleagues like her.

Received email from recruiter to schedule a phone screen. Recruiter did not come across as engaged or genuinely interested in screening me as a candidate Asked 1-2 questions only. The whole call would have wrapped in 10 mins. Did not provide details on the role or company, ask me to share about myself. One of the worst recruiter experiences given the lack of engagement.
