Extremely disorganized and unprofessional. The sales manager reached out to me on LinkedIn; after a phone interview and 7 person interview on site, they told me I got the job. A week later a recruiter told me I didn't get it because I was "interviewing around". Then she told me to reach out again to go over their concerns. After interviewing with the sales director they sent me an email "Offer on the way" then I went on vacation they told me I have to interview with another manager because they hired someone for the original position. The new manager said I wasn't "excited" enough so they ended up not moving forward. So much back and forth, 4 times to be exact. They wasted my time and also had me decline three other offers; they have no respect for their candidates during the hiring process.

First there was a phone screening, recruiter was very nice and it was straightforward, she talked about salary, job description and talked about next steps. Then there was a Zoom interview with the Hiring Manager who was extremely nice, outgoing and interested in the conversation. Last interview was a role-play and then another conversation with an SDR.

1. Recruiter Screening
2. Hiring manager round (includes one mock cold call)
Interviewer was rude, keep looking down at something the entire time and was not actively listening. I eventually was rejected and I’m glad I did because I would’ve declined the offer anyway. I had high expectations about databricks being a revolutionary company but if this is the kind of people that the company has, then I’d stay away from it.

Process was straightforward, people I spoke to along the way were very friendly and approachable. I don’t think that I fit what they were looking for but the experience itself was positive. No feedback offered.
