Coding to fix issue for free, they would ask the candidate to go to download an open source project and fix issue. This way they get free "consultant", kind of smart but unethical. It is bad practice.
4 step interview process, they all seemed nice. In the system design, there were 2 software engineers, who didnt know to articulate the questions and kept on probing to get the answer they were looking for. Im surprised by how they decide to pick a very narrow domain and ask questions because they were experts in that area. Anyway I would stay away from this company because they are narrow minded and old school in their hiring process.

Question 1
Explain the architecture of server handling requests.
J'ai postulé via un recruteur. Le processus a pris 3 semaines. J'ai passé un entretien chez DataStax (Stockholm, ) en avr. 2022
Entretien
A smooth one. Everything happened according to the schedule and they try to finish the process as quick as possible. I was well-informed about the interview round I was going to face next and that helped me to prepare well.
The technical rounds were more like some technical discussions with our teammates rather than interview rounds. So, I didn't feel nervous at all. Overall, one of the best experiences I ever had.

Question 1
I was interviewed for DSE team and the questions were in that area, related to databases and algorithms. The coding round was some pattern matching question that would test your logical thinking and coding ability.
Then, some of the questions were related to cultural and functional fit like your best and worst project till now, any conflict with your managers, etc.
