DataLab USA contacted me for an in-person interview three weeks after I applied online. I went in for two different interviews, first time meeting the HR, Senior Manager & company CEO. Second time was a meet and greet with a Director. The interview was relatively easy, the staff seemed really nice. During the interview everyone made the company sound very welcoming but little did I know about the cut throat culture. The HR representative described the environment as “friendly and interactive” and “supportive of employees” but I soon found out the opposite. DataLab made me an offer but once I countered their offer, I received a hostile email from the HR representative describing false shortcomings in my abilities and undermining my professional expertise. Then I politely replied in defense insuring them of my professional capabilities while pondering to myself why an HR representative would attack my professional integrity when they have already made me an offer. A few days later, with no negotiations, I received an abrupt email from the HR representative stating that after reviewing my counter offer and my emails I was no longer a perfect match. Frankly, I am really relieved that I did not accept their offer as this interaction showed their unprofessional work ethic and their blatant disregard for valuable employees.

Entretien
I spoke with HR over the phone, invited me for onsite interview . Had the SQL test but was told the partner to interview was having a meeting and they'll contact me at a later date for another interview over the phone. Didn't hear back after 2 days mailed to check back and they said they decided to go on with someone else. Very unprofessional.
Applied online after meeting them at a local career fair. Quick and easy process. Had a skype with the CEO and the data analytics team. It was really laid back and conversational. Then I went into the office to take the SQL and analytics exam and met the CEO in person. Got an offer two weeks later.

Entretien
Hiring process was very quick and easy. In only 3 days after I applied I had a phone interview, then was called for an in-person interview, where I met a great team of professionals: the HR manager, the COO and 2 other managers. I got a great offer in less than a week, I accepted it and haven't been happier since.
