What consistently kept me engaged throughout the process was the strength of the people themselves — each conversation reflected a high level of intelligence, curiosity, and care for how the business operates. The assessment portion was presented to a panel, and I remember even asking whether the group had previously been on a call together, as it initially felt less unified than other stages. That said, the interview pairings were very thoughtfully chosen, and as the conversation progressed, it became clear how complementary those perspectives were for the role and the types of decisions it would support. The discussions felt grounded in real challenges, not hypotheticals, which made the process feel substantive and authentic.
