The interview process felt disorganized and inconsistent. Initially, I was told they weren’t actively considering candidates with my level of experience, but we proceeded with the interview anyway. Despite answering all questions correctly and receiving encouraging feedback from the interviewer, I received an automated rejection email a week later with no explanation.
There were several red flags during the interview itself. It wasn’t recorded, so I’m unsure if any of my responses were reviewed. The interviewer’s laptop died midway, and for the coding portion, I was asked to write code in Notepad while the interviewer read the questions out loud. This setup felt improvised and unprofessional for a technical role.
After the interview, I reached out to ask for feedback or any clarification on the decision, but I was completely ghosted. Overall, the process lacked transparency, professionalism, and basic candidate courtesy. For a company that emphasizes data-driven thinking, the interview experience felt anything but structured or thoughtful.

I applied for Software Engineer's position online through DSD's website. I got the response within an hour and was given an assignment to be submitted within 5 business days.
The interview process at DSD is smooth. They give you an assignment (if applied for some technical job position) and if you get passed, you will be moved to interview phase. The interviews consist of technical, behavioural and logical questions. I didn't feel intimidated or terrified while being interviewed because it was more like a casual discussion.
In the first two interviews, I was asked behavioural and scenario-based questions and the third one was technical. In the last one, I met the CEO, Mr Raja Tanveer Iqbal who elaborated me the job role
and explained the responsibilities and asked me about my career choices and passion. He shared his entrepreneurial experience with me which was very enlightening.
After a few days, I got the offer and I am working at Data Science Dojo for a couple of months now. So far, my experience is pretty good. I would surely recommend this company as I’ve met amazing people here with amazing minds and impressive ideas.
