The worst HR process I have ever seen in any company.
I got a call from dxc regarding interview, I travelled from Gurgaon to Noida for giving interview after taking half day leave from my company.
My first round was F2F, it took 1.5 hr of long interview and all the questions were asked from Java and selenium. Everything goes well and interviewer looks convinced with my skills. At the end of the interview he asked me will you fine if company asks for performing Manual testing I said 30,40% is fine to me. He said if company ask for 100% Manual then ? I said no 100% manual would not be comfortable for me and i guess the position is for Automation Testing not manual testing.
As HR asked shortlisted my profile on Automation skills.
Finally interviewer said , you can leave for the day our recruiter is on leave today. This was really bad that a 8+ yrs of experience person is telling a lie in this way.
After two days I asked for my feedback and then I received a mail from HR that you are not selected in first round I asked for the comments given by interviewer and asked reason why got rejected, is the reason was denying for performing Manual testing ? and then she called me and said sorry there was some misunderstanding you are selected and interviewer said you are very good in automation. we are just waiting for manager approval and after 2,3 days will conduct your final managerial round I said ok.
I didn't received anything from HR, after several follow ups no response from HR side. I could mention their name as well but no.
Worst HR processes,I even doubt whether she understands what is the exact mean of HR, completely illiterate. Just like to say don't fool and waste candidate time, if you want a candidate to perform Manual testing then hire manual testers not automation testers. Do not call a candidate if you are unsure about profile.
People's like you don't deserve to be HR of a prestigious company like DXC. People like you defame the entire HR community.
good and imp to know basics questions and answers. tell me about you self ans will decide the job and offer letter . company dont want change any job offers

"Laughable" is what best describes the process or at least the first round.
1st round was technical round. Interviewer asks domain related questions from projects from back in 2017. Did not ask about recent project.
Asked to write code, not on online editor, not on IDE, not on notepad, but on pen and paper!!! And the was asked to show me writing on the paper and show the same on camera. What a joke of a company. Saying this is the process.
1. Virtual Technical Round - Mostly related to tech stack written in Resume and according to job requirements.
2. Managerial Round - Cultural fit along with basic technical concepts. Hypothetical questions, scenario based questions, discussion about projects you have worked on.
