I spoke to a recruiter on the phone who then arranged an interview for me. I attended the interview and decided never to go back, despite being invited for a second interview (for a franchise that I would have loved to have worked for - Honda) because i had never met anyone with such an air of total arrogance and ignorance to women in the trade.
If you are a female wanting to progress your career in the car sales business and demand to be taken seriously - this is NOT the business to work for as you will be just a novelty to them purely because of your sex. They dont want to ask about your numbers.

We have never had a woman on the sales team before. It's new for me. Do you think you can handle the 'banter' and everything that comes with the trade?
Ive been told by someone that works at (previous employer) that someone on the sales team has had a lot of time off. Do you know anything about this? Because if it is you, I'd rather you was honest with me.
