After submitting my application, I received a call from HR. They scheduled a technical interview to assess my skills and experience relevant to the position. Finally, I have accepted the offer.

They had two people interviewing me. It's like an interview for a company running a pyramid scheme. I'm not saying they are bad company but the interview made me feel weird and made me reevaluate the companies I was looking at.

I was supposed to be sent a packet to study via email before going to the interview. I would have had to study the packet before going in. The lady who set up my interview never gave me this so I went in thinking it was going to be just an interpersonal interview when really it was a technical interview.
They start by asking you general questions about your background and resume. They then give you a 6-page packet with a question on each one. They mostly cover database queries, inserts, and joins. They have another question with some Visual Basic code and ask you to find the logical error. They also have one pseudo code question where they ask you to insert information that was parsed from a string in another language (e.g. C++). They don’t require you to know the syntax exactly. They just want to know that you’ve worked with this stuff before and that you know how to ask questions when necessary.
