      1. Application Submit your resume and cover letter through the company's job portal or via an email. Some companies may also require you to fill out an online application form. 2. Screening A recruiter or HR manager will review your application to see if your qualifications and experience match the job requirements. If you meet the criteria, they will contact you for an initial screening, which might be over the phone or via video call. This stage often includes basic questions about your background and your interest in the role. 3. First Interview If you pass the screening, the next step is usually a more in-depth interview. This could be with a hiring manager or a panel and might take place over video, phone, or in person. You'll likely face questions about your experience, skills, and how you handle certain work situations. 4. Assessment For some roles, especially in technical fields, you might be asked to complete a task or a test. This could be a coding challenge, a case study, or a presentation to demonstrate your skills and thinking process. 5. Second Interview In many cases, there’s a second round of interviews, especially for senior roles. This round may involve more detailed job-specific questions and discussions with higher-level staff or potential team members. 6. Background and Reference Checks If the interviews and assessments go well, the employer may conduct background checks and contact your references. This is to verify the information you've provided and get feedback on your work ethic and experience from people who have worked with you. 7. Job Offer If everything checks out and the employer decides to hire you, you'll receive a job offer. This usually comes in the form of a letter or email detailing the terms of employment, such as salary, benefits, and start date. 8. Negotiation You have the opportunity to accept the offer as is, or enter into a negotiation about salary, benefits, or other terms. 9. Acceptance Once the terms are agreed upon, you'll sign the job offer and prepare for your first day.
