J'ai postulé via un recruteur. J'ai passé un entretien chez Cyera (New York, NY)

Started with recruiter screening. Then moved to a screening with hiring manager. The screening asked procedural and Technical questions and lasted 30 minutes. You then move to an hour long Technical screening with two individuals in the position. You are asked a wide variety of technical questions and are really out to the test. This spans from procedural, to troubleshooting and scenarios.

This was one of the weirdest, most unprofessional and disappointing interview processes I went through in my whole life.
1) I applied online and I was invited to schedule an interview with the hiring manager directly without HR screening. That was already odd as there was no alignment on salary, benefits and notice period
2) I spoke with the hiring manager. He was professional although totally unemphatetic and cold. It seemed more of a grilling than an interview. That felt uncomfortable.
3) the hiring manager told me that I was through the next stage.
4) I didn't hear from them in a month and a half.
I then received a random email on a Friday night from the recruitment coordinator asking if I was available for an interview. I asked for some clarifications politely as this whole process has been nothing but odd and chaotic, and I was ghosted again since.
Very disappointing process, I'm glad I didn't get an offer.

I went through six rounds of interviews. It started with a behavioral conversation with a recruiter about my background and career goals, followed by a behavioral and technical discussion with the hiring manager covering experience, problem-solving, and technical skills.
The most challenging round was the technical panel with senior CSEs, where they assessed deep technical knowledge, troubleshooting, and presentation skills. After that, I had a behavioral and technical interview with a solutions architect, focused on both technical expertise and strategic thinking.
Next was a conversation with the head of the organization, which was more high-level, centered on leadership and alignment with company values. The final round was with the head of HR to discuss offer details and expectations.
Everyone I spoke with was incredibly kind and highly intelligent. The tech panel was challenging, but a great learning experience. If you prep well, you will succeed!
