12 minute interview call with recruiter who probably did not understand when I spoke about my enterprise/software/IT program management experience. No follow up questions for me to clarify on the experience I stated. It seemed that he was not prepared for the interview and was in a hurry to hang up the phone call.
He wrapped up saying that they were looking for domain experience (I am guessing AV domain) and that they would reach out should a suitable position becomes available.
To HR: Please make an effort to read/review and UNDERSTAND the candidature and don’t waste our time (both parties included) if domain experience is what you seek as a primary need. This is coming from a Senior Manager who has been on both side of hiring fences.
Hope the other candidates have a better experience with talking to their recruiting team.
