I had an initial phone screen, a more technical phone interview, and an in-person interview in SF.
The initial phone screen was fine, although it was not for the position I applied for (which was not an engineering role). The hiring manager was about 15 minutes late for the second phone interview. They admitted they had mistakenly interviewed me for the wrong position in the first interview and asked if I would be okay with either, which I was fine with.
The on-site interview consisted of four separate 30-45 minute interviews across multiple groups. The interview questions were basically what you would expect. They seemed more concerned about thought process and "fit" with the company rather than getting all of the details exactly correct.
One of the interviewers was about 10 minutes late, which made me feel very rushed as that interview was only 30 minutes to begin with. Another interviewer had only been told they were interviewing me the night beforehand and didn't have any time to prepare, so we essentially just talked and they were happy to answer all of my questions. That was fine with me, but it doesn't seem like it did me much good in their eyes since there wasn't much material to rate me on. The final ~15 minutes was with a recruiter, except the recruiter I'd talked to had to catch a flight at the last minute so I talked with a different one. They seemed very surprised that I had never talked with the original recruiter on the phone and said typically the recruiter would have called me and talked to me at some point in the process.
I sent thank-you's, and followed up a couple weeks afterwards to check in, but never heard anything back.
The "negative" rating I'm giving is because of three interviewers being significantly late, the lack of communication from the recruiter, and the process as a whole seeming very disorganized with interviewing me for the wrong position initially and multiple interviewers being pulled in at the last minute. Everyone was relatively nice and respectful, so that was a plus. Cruise is doing some very cool things, but I don't think they have the hiring process quite figured out yet.

After the initial recruiter call, I got an interview with the manager. As it turns out, their job descriptions aren't to be trusted... My background matched the job description pretty well overall including the "What you must have" section. But the "Bonus Points" section that they listed (certain coding experience) was actually essential to the job! Not even the recruiter seemed to know that. I believe many companies will give applicants one try at a job application and then block them from re-applying for some time. And job descriptions that can't clearly say what is really needed ruin your chances quite literally. It also eliminates excitement for the company...

What was the hardest coding problem you have ever worked on?
Series of interviews, recruiter screening and a technical interview. Overall process was a bit slow but communicative. This was surprising because i was told it was urgent need. Technical questions were not very well thought out.
