As a support worker, crisis management is crucial. You might be asked how you stay calm and provide help in a crisis, especially if you have experience with Therapeutic Crisis Intervention (TCI). What approach do you take when supporting someone with complex needs or addiction issues? They’ll likely want to know how you would manage the emotional and practical needs of vulnerable individuals, like those with addiction issues. How do you ensure that you respect the dignity and autonomy of the individuals you support? This tests your understanding of ethical care, confidentiality, and empowering those you work with. Can you provide an example of a time when you worked as part of a multidisciplinary team?
