I was asked to come down to their office (which is fine) and then there was a salary discussion that happened post first interaction. Days went by, weeks went by but the HR there did not bother to contact back and i was waited for her to share an official offer letter that she promised to send. One day, when i again followed up, i was told that there is going to be another round. Like seriously? why didn't you mention this before discussing the salary? I anyway agreed for another round and bam! the HR again disappeared and stopped responding. So, at the end i had to write an email to her asking for an update to which i got a reply saying "the position is on hold, i shall let you know when it reopens". Is it okay to ask someone to put down their papers in their current organization and not respond to them for weeks and suddenly blast them with the above statement?
