I was asked why I was interested in the IT industry. The owner kept trying to scare me out of accepting the position. I wish I would’ve listened. I left after 3 weeks of working here. He kept saying “this isn’t easy.” Which I agree, however if you don’t receive training it really won’t be easy. I was told about the work environment. Dress code is extremely strict. Business casual. Must be tidy and look neat. No sweats or tights or sneakers at all. If you have this role, you are expected to make coffee every single morning even though the men come in at 7:00, before the administrative assistant.
