Unprofessional/unstructured Interview the coordinator sent me a panel interview to invite with specific instructions that this was going to be a STAR interview. However, this was not the case. I found the interview to be the opposite and unprofessional. There were no STAR packets or mandated formal questionnaire. At one point, I was asked where I live? One of the panel interviewers was a no show. All but one were late. Truly a waste of 60 minutes of my time. This is not appropriate. I felt truly picked apart on my experience and character based on judgment, not on my true abilities in product management. Just because someone doesn’t use certain key words, live in a certain area, be a female, and be in a job for a certain amount of time does not give a peer the right to formulate an opinion of that person, instead of concerning oneself with their ability to succeed in the role.
I thought Cox Automotive would have better represented their morals and mission of being a family environment and being female-inclusive.
