The inital interview was with the Recruiter via phone phone. I was selected to interview with the company itself. The first interview with the company was with the Department Manager and a Senior Analyst in the department via phone. After a few days I was then asked to come in and interview in person with the Department Manager and the Senior Analyst in the department. A few days after that, I was told I was amongst 3 finalists for the position, I was then asked to come in and invterview with the Director of IS. I was offered the positioned just a few days after my last interview

The interview process with Covidien was very similar to most mid-large companies. You are vetted by an HR talent acquisition personnel, then with the hiring manager, then with upper management within the hiring department. They are fairly informal in the question methodology and tend to allow you to be relaxed and be yourself.
