I saw the job listed and emailed my resume and a cover letter. That night I received an email reply asking if I was available for an interview. The next morning we set up a time to meet for an in-person interview later that day. The interview was casual but thorough and informative. I was offered the position the next day.

Most important was sending in a writing sample and passing a written exam they send you. They send you a court case where you are asked to follow guidelines and give a condensed summary.

I met a CNS employee in the courthouse who passed my resume on to her Supervisor after discussing an open position with me. The sup emailed to schedule an interview in a hotel lobby near the main courthouse I would be visiting. He took notes during the interview and expected me to also. We talked a lot about the job structure and my experience.
