Interview immediately moved into a series of behavioral questions. No unusual questions, but ... that was just it: their question, my answer, their awkward silence; next, next, next. Then, they jumped without segue into my questions. I asked for more information about the job, and was told 1) I wasn't under NDA, so they couldn't tell me details, then 2) launched into a generic description of pretty much any product management position: drive a roadmap, make decisions based on data, etc. I asked again what this position would focus on: what challenges are they facing, what are their short term/long term goals; what would I be working on if I were to join? Interview was immediately cut short, because "they were looking for someone who would drive a roadmap and not be focused on the first problem to solve." Again, what roadmap? What are you trying to do as a company? Why would I want to join you, other than to have a job, if I have zero idea what you're trying accomplish?
