The interview process is super weird for a corporate role. I was told that I had one of the best interviews the team had ever had in my market and still ended up not getting an offer and the position was reposted. There’s a built in human bias element in the interview process that I believe adversely affects candidates who are from different backgrounds(minorities) than the majority and that involves interviewing with a physiatrist who asked personal questions about my relationship with my parents as well as other personal questions that had absolutely nothing to do with the position. The physiatrist then has the ability to recommend or not recommend you for hire! Definitely wouldn’t recommend as the whole process ends up relying on a human who could have personal biases against you, considering the climate we’re currently living in today. I ended up getting multiple offers from competitors and now I work for the industry leader.
