The interviewer was 15 minutes late, which caused inconvenience as I, the HR representative, and a senior engineer were left waiting. I found this unprofessional. During the interview, I felt uncomfortable when the interviewer commented on my hand tattoo, which is a tribute to my late grandparents. Additionally, much of the conversation focused on my family background, which seemed irrelevant and gave the impression that I was being judged on personal matters rather than my qualifications. Despite having a good CGPA, a positive attitude, and significant contributions during my secondary school activities—details I included in my resume—she appeared uninterested in these aspects.
As this was my first interview as a fresh graduate, the experience was upsetting and negatively impacted my overall impression of the interview process.
