Interview was not overly formal. There were 2 interviewers. I was asked about my experience. I was also asked about collecting blood gases. As this is an arterial test, it is not within my field of expertise. Not once during the interview was I screened regarding French. Until, I was out of the interview room and at the automatic doors to the parking lot that I was cavarlierly asked if I spoke French. To which I responded that I could manage. I received a phone message saying that I did not win the position because I was not proficient enough in French.
