They really want to get to know how you work, and your values. They make the conversation very comfortable and do a great job of giving an overview of the firm. They were the only firm that asked me about my voluntary experience.

I applied for the open Project Specialist position at Corgan through their website. A week after submitting my application, I received an email inviting me to interview for the role. The interview was conducted via Microsoft Teams and was led by two team members who oversee data center projects in Abilene and Dallas, Texas. And after a week they responded back.

The interview was conversational in nature. They began by asking me to introduce myself and talk about my design process and decision-making approach. We then discussed my portfolio, focusing on two projects I felt best aligned with the data center specialization of the role. They also asked about my interest in Corgan and specifically in their data center work, as well as my interest in relocating to the city where the position is based.

I applied online and received an interview invite after a month. There was just one round of interviews. I walked through a few projects from my portfolio, and they asked questions about my work and overall experience. The conversation was very friendly and relaxed, and the entire interview was conducted online.

I knew the interviewer beforehand so I reached out in addition to applying online. We went through my portfolio, some academic and some professional work. Asked about my technical skills and experiences in different phases of design.
